Introduction

This page is a part of a research project www.soilmodels.info. The project aims at developing a database of constitutive models implemented in a standardised format, namely umat format of the ABAQUS finite element program. Part of the project is a single-element program (written by A. Niemunis) for running virtually any element test with umat, which can be used for calibration of material parameters.

Umat available at this web page is developed in C++ programming language. It can be used with any FE program supporting umat format, and it can be used with other programs through suitable interface.
