Geophysical field training In July 2010 a geophysical field course will be placed in the city of Rejvíz in Jeseníky Mountains (Czech Republic). The assumed term of this course is 14 - 25th July. Position of the location at google-maps Short field training will familiarize students with the field methods of the shallow surface-geophysics. It will be placed together with the course of geophysical methods for students of the specialization of Applied geophysics. It will be placed at the field base of Faculty of Science in Jeseníky Mountains (Czech Republic). Students will work (and do an interpretation) with the methods of: gravity surveying, shallow seismic, geoelectric and radiometric methods and magnetic prospecting. Local circumstances at the base give a chance to make a geophysical lecture and give also a good possibility to improve interrelationships between students.
