Success at XXIV. Meeting of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists
Members of our laboratory actively participated in the XXIV. Meeting of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists, contributing to both the Youth Section and the Poster Section. Jakub Jeníček delivered a talk titled “The structural investigation of NKR-P1B: a case study to compare rat and human NK cell receptors”, for which he received an Honourable Mention (shared 4th–6th place). In the main lecture session, Ondřej Vaněk presented “Home, sweet host! A chat of glycans, lectins, microbes, killers”, and Ondřej Skořepa contributed with a talk on DNA-PAINT imaging of immune receptors.
The lab was also well represented in the poster sessions. Posters involving lab members included work on recombinant immunocytokines (P5), anti-CD20 nanobody conjugates (P6), production of a soluble RCTL protein (P12), and structural studies of CD69 mutants (P15). Across these contributions, laboratory members presented ongoing research in protein engineering, immunology, and structural biology.
