In 2024, several Master’s<\/strong> and Bachelor’s<\/strong> theses from our laboratory were successfully defended. Notably, Krist\u00fdna Pazderov\u00e1<\/strong> received a nomination for the Rector’s Award<\/strong> for her Master’s thesis<\/strong> on the structural biochemistry of NKp80<\/strong>, an activation receptor of human lymphocytes.<\/p>\n\n

Other defended Master’s theses<\/strong> include Yurii Dubanych<\/strong>‘s research on galectin-3<\/strong> interaction with NKp30<\/strong>, Gabriela Chytr\u00e1<\/strong>‘s work on activating antitumor immune responses using bispecific fusion proteins, and Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ot\u00e9pka<\/strong>‘s project on the preparation of TGF-\u03b23<\/strong> with a coiled-coil tag.<\/p>\n\n

In the Bachelor’s<\/strong> category, Tereza Cibikov\u00e1<\/strong> worked on anti-CD20 nanobodies<\/strong> and polymeric carrier conjugation, Anna Dmytrivna Maksimova<\/strong> focused on soluble NK cell receptor NKR-P1<\/strong> production, and Vikt\u00f3ria Murajdov\u00e1<\/strong> optimized recombinant protein expression in HEK293 cells<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
