That is why Martina and Honza organised a biology-themed programme for kids from our local school. The aim was to introduce the kids to basic laboratory techniques as well as the biological principles behind them. For example, they could try to examine buccal cells under light microscopy, pipetting and visualisation of proteins left behind in fingerprints.
