We are very happy to share that Honza was recently awarded with the ACTERIA Early Career Research Prizes award by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) in collaboration with the ACTERIA Foundation. Honza was nominated by the Czech Immunological Society, and recieved the award for his work during his postdoctoral stay in the Weizmann Institute in Israel. His research helped to unreveal the critical role of extrathymic AIRE-expressing cells (eTACs) in the regulation of immune responses to Candida albicans<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prize will be officially presented during a special awards ceremony at the 19th International Congress of Immunology (IUIS 2025) in Vienna on August 20, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
