Tato cena, spojen\u00e1 s\u00a0finan\u010dn\u00ed odm\u011bnou 10 tis. K\u010d, je vyhla\u0161ov\u00e1na na po\u010dest vynikaj\u00edc\u00edho \u010desk\u00e9ho ekologa profesora Vojt\u011bcha Jaro\u0161\u00edka (1958-2013), jen\u017e podlehl na vrcholu sv\u00fdch tv\u016fr\u010d\u00edch sil t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9 nemoci. A\u010dkoli jsme se sna\u017eili informaci o Cen\u011b roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159it na v\u0161echna relevantn\u00ed akademick\u00e1 pracovi\u0161t\u011b v&nbsp;\u010cR, pr\u00e1ce nakonec zaslali pouze studenti ze dvou vysok\u00fdch \u0161kol \u2013 Univerzity Karlovy v&nbsp;Praze (10 prac\u00ed z&nbsp;p\u011bti r\u016fzn\u00fdch pracovi\u0161\u0165) a brn\u011bnsk\u00e9 Masarykovy univerzity (3 pr\u00e1ce). P\u0159esto v\u0161ak p\u0159ihl\u00e1\u0161en\u00e9 publikace velmi dob\u0159e reprezentovaly \u0161\u00ed\u0159i t\u00e9mat a metodick\u00fdch p\u0159\u00edstup\u016f, jim\u017e se sou\u010dasn\u00e1 ekologie v\u011bnuje, od makroekologie p\u0159es behavior\u00e1ln\u00ed a molekul\u00e1rn\u00ed ekologii, invazn\u00ed biologii, v\u00fdzkum metaspole\u010denstev, interakce patogen\u016f a hostitel\u016f \u010di pred\u00e1tor\u016f a ko\u0159isti a\u017e po strukturu a funkci mikrobi\u00e1ln\u00edch spole\u010denstev.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Za pov\u0161imnut\u00ed stoj\u00ed nevyrovnanost v&nbsp;pom\u011bru pohlav\u00ed prvn\u00edch autor\u016f p\u0159ihl\u00e1\u0161en\u00fdch prac\u00ed \u2013 v&nbsp;pom\u011bru jeden\u00e1ct ku dv\u011bma vedly studentky nad studenty! A\u010dkoli je dominance \u017een mezi studenty biologick\u00fdch obor\u016f z\u0159ejm\u00e1 na prvn\u00ed pohled \u2013 sta\u010d\u00ed se pod\u00edvat do posluch\u00e1rny b\u011bhem n\u011bkter\u00e9 ze z\u00e1kladn\u00edch p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ek pregradu\u00e1ln\u00edho studia \u2013 takto v\u00fdrazn\u00fd nepom\u011br byl neo\u010dek\u00e1van\u00fd. Uvid\u00edme v&nbsp;dal\u0161\u00edch ro\u010dn\u00edc\u00edch, zda se jednalo jen o n\u00e1hodn\u00fd v\u00fdkyv&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u0159ihl\u00e1\u0161en\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce posuzovala t\u0159in\u00e1cti\u010dlenn\u00e1 odborn\u00e1 komise slo\u017een\u00e1 ze z\u00e1stupc\u016f \u010cSPE a katedry ekologie P\u0159F UK. Ka\u017ed\u00fd \u010dlen komise m\u011bl na z\u00e1klad\u011b originality prac\u00ed a jejich p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvku k&nbsp;ekologick\u00e9mu pozn\u00e1n\u00ed vybrat t\u0159i pr\u00e1ce hodn\u00e9 ocen\u011bn\u00ed. Nebyl to v\u016fbec jednoduch\u00fd \u00fakol, proto\u017ee se ve v\u0161ech p\u0159\u00edpadech jednalo o kvalitn\u00ed \u010dl\u00e1nky, mnohdy publikovan\u00e9 ve vysoce presti\u017en\u00edch \u010dasopisech. Pouze \u010dty\u0159i ze t\u0159in\u00e1cti p\u0159ihl\u00e1\u0161en\u00fdch prac\u00ed se do \u00fazk\u00e9ho v\u00fdb\u011bru n\u011bkter\u00e9ho z&nbsp;\u010dlen\u016f komise nedostaly ani jednou. Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b v\u0161ak bylo n\u011bkolik publikac\u00ed, kter\u00e9 bodovaly \u010dast\u011bji ne\u017e jin\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laure\u00e1tkou Ceny Vojt\u011bch Jaro\u0161\u00edka za roky 2013-4 se jednozna\u010dn\u011b stala Veronika Kalusov\u00e1 z&nbsp;\u00dastavu botaniky a zoologie P\u0159\u00edrodov\u011bdeck\u00e9 fakulty Masarykovy univerzity. Ocen\u011bna byla za pr\u00e1ci \u201eAlien species pool influences the level of habitat invasion in intercontinental exchange of alien species\u201d publikovanou v&nbsp;<em>Global Ecology and Biogeography.&nbsp;<\/em>D\u00e1le stoj\u00ed za vyp\u00edchnut\u00ed \u00fasp\u011bch publikac\u00ed Barbory \u010cern\u00e9 Bolf\u00edkov\u00e9 z katedry zoologie P\u0159F UK v Praze, Evy L\u00edznarov\u00e9 z P\u0159F MU a Jany Vo\u0159\u00ed\u0161kov\u00e9 z Mikrobiologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu AV \u010cR. Pr\u00e1ce t\u011bchto t\u0159\u00ed autorek skon\u010dily s rovn\u00fdm po\u010dtem hlas\u016f na 2. \u2013 4. m\u00edst\u011b. I ostatn\u00ed pr\u00e1ce p\u0159ihl\u00e1\u0161en\u00e9 do sout\u011b\u017ee v\u0161ak prokazuj\u00ed, \u017ee \u0159ada studentek a student\u016f na\u0161ich vysok\u00fdch \u0161kol je schopna dotahovat sv\u016fj v\u00fdzkum do podoby \u0161pi\u010dkov\u00fdch publikac\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V&nbsp;leto\u0161n\u00edm roce (nejpozd\u011bji do 30. dubna 2016) bude mo\u017eno p\u0159ihl\u00e1sit do sout\u011b\u017ee o Cenu Vojt\u011bcha Jaro\u0161\u00edka studentsk\u00e9 prvoautorsk\u00e9 publikace vy\u0161l\u00e9 ve fin\u00e1ln\u00ed podob\u011b b\u011bhem r. 2015.
