Prof. M. Opanasenko<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project summary:<\/strong> Zeolites are efficient adsorbents and catalysts due to their molecular sieving effect, high adsorption capacity, and tunable composition. However, the controlled synthesis of zeolite frameworks with predetermined topology remains a challenge. The ADOR method, leveraging the chemical weakness of anisotropic frameworks, is a powerful approach for creating new zeolites with tailored structures. Yet, its application is constrained by specific requirements for the parent framework\u2019s anisotropy and composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project will expand top-down synthesis strategies for materials with potential applications in adsorption and catalysis. The work involves solvothermal synthesis of colloidal systems, post-synthesis transformations <em>via<\/em> solid-solid, solid-liquid, and solid-vapor interactions under various conditions, and comprehensive structural, spectroscopic, and textural characterization.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
