On Sunday 16 October, the Neuron Foundation awarded<\/strong><\/a> two Czech scientists for their outstanding lifetime contributions to global research, one scientific transfer project, and six rising stars in science.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The main award was presented to Professor Jan Star\u00fd<\/strong>, a pioneer in childhood leukemia treatment from the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. The second lifetime achievement prize went to Professor Pavel Hobza<\/strong>, a world-renowned chemist from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
