Departmental retreat in Liblice 2026

This May, our group attended the annual meeting of the Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry in Liblice.

On the second day of the departmental retreat, both of our PhD. students presented their projects. First, Michaela Vaňková contributed with her lecture “Polyacetylene POPs for sorption application”. The lecture given by Michaela followed up on her lecture from previous year, this time focusing primarily on her advances on the topic of reversible water sorption using porous organic polymers. After Michaela, our first-year PhD student Marek Plachý had an introductory lecture to his PhD. project “Development of conjugated hyper-cross-linked porous organic polymers for sorption and catalytic applications”. Marek’s lecture covered the overall outlook of his research, but also his future plans and results achieved to date.
