Together with colleagues from the Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences and J.E. Purkyn\u011b University, we sampled trees, seedlings, and shrubs at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/mapy.cz\/s\/pupujezebu\" target=\"_blank\">Mont Jauffret<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/mapy.cz\/s\/lurureculo\" target=\"_blank\">Mont Babel<\/a> treelines in the region of Uapishka, Northern Quebec. It was great to be back in remote regions of the Arctic after years of travel restrictions! We thank <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/eu-interact.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eu-interact.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Interact <\/a>for providing the funding and the staff of a local <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stationuapishka.com\/home\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.stationuapishka.com\/home\" target=\"_blank\">research station<\/a> for their support and hospitality.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Almost three weeks of fieldwork in Canada are over.
