The programme covers <strong>fundamental principles<\/strong> of <strong>SEM<\/strong>, current methods of specimen preparation, including <strong>cryo approaches<\/strong>, methods of volume SEM like <strong>FIB SEM<\/strong>, <strong>SBF SEM<\/strong> or <strong>MAT<\/strong>, and SEM applications in <strong>immunolocalization<\/strong> or correlative microscopy. The main goal of the practical part is to familiarise participants with microscope operation, <strong>image acquisition<\/strong>, <strong>data processing<\/strong> and useful <strong>tricks and tips<\/strong> in sample preparation. The course is limited to <strong>15 participants<\/strong> including both begining and intermediate SEM users.
