Demonstrations will use intestinal samples from MHC II-EGFP knock-in mice, in which MHC II-expressing cells fluoresce green, and from MHC II-EGFP knock-in mice crossed with a tdTomato reporter line, in which, in addition to EGFP\u207a antigen-presenting cells, all cell membranes are labeled with membrane-localized tdTomato.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the principles of fluorescence microscopy. Participants will then explore virtual slide imaging using tissue sections, followed by confocal microscopy of cryosectioned intestinal tissue. Finally, the principles and applications of light-sheet fluorescence microscopy will be demonstrated using a cleared intestinal sample.
