Contour to DXF Plus solves the problem of exporting contour
lines from MapInfo Professional to terrain modelling software. This program
allows MapInfo users to export lines with height values such as contour lines
a Data eXchange File (DXF) format. The DXF file produced will contain the
height value, enabling the file to be read in to most terrain modelling and
other software packages that support DXf files. |
|
The DXF produced by this program contains only an entities
section which may produce some warnings when importing it into some software
packages. Contours to DXF Plus is recommended for anyone who wants to export
contour data from MapInfo Professional to terrain modelling software. |

Copy Plus is a program that has been specifically built for
copying MapInfo workspaces. Copy Plus copies the workspace and all the tables
associated with it to a user specified directory. A "List of
Tables" tab appears for all workspaces that contain tables, listing all
the tables that will be copied. |
|
A
handy feature of Copy Plus is that the total size of the tables to be copied
is shown in kilobytes before the files are copied, allowing the user to check
if enough disk storage space is available. |
|
Other options include the ability to convert a workspace created
in MapInfo 5.5 to a MapInfo 5.0. compatible workspace. This feature is
extremely useful if you are sharing data with someone outside your
organization or setting up workspaces to use with MapInfo's free ProViewer
(Copy Plus is compatible with both ProViewer Versions - 5.0 and 5.5), where
the header section of the workspace, printer command and relief shading are
either modified or removed from the workspace. |

Copy Plus' Graphical User Interface |
|
When a workspace is destined for a CD, there is an option that
converts editable layers in the workspace to uneditable because of the read
only properties on a CD. |
|
Copy
Plus is recommended for MapInfo Professional users who move Workspaces and
anyone who needs to share data with another user outside their corporate
computer network by copying data to a CD. |

Converts text labels for regions into attribute data. This is
often the case when working with CAD files with say, building names in one
layer and building boundaries in another. Get_text.MBX takes each text object
in a table, then finds a polygon (region) in another table that the label is
located within. The program then assigns the text of the object to the 'desc'
field of the polygon table. |

for each of the Layers you have in your front mapper. Each layer will be
identified by the first letter/number of its name, and the button will let
you toggle each layer from labeled to visible to hidden. Zoomed out buttons
will appear disabled. You will also have an easy way to show or hide all
layers at once, with the first two Buttons in the Pad. |

Imagine being able to use MapInfo as your single point of
reference to all the spatially related documents in your organization. Link
Plus overcomes the problem of maintaining data outside MapInfo but being able
to access that information at the click of a button, always retrieving the
latest version of that file, whether it be a text document, spreadsheet,
image, URL or even another MapInfo file. |
|
Link Plus allows users to click on an object in a mapper that
has been linked to a file. Link Plus then executes the associated program to
display or run that file. |
|
Link Plus automatically knows which program to link to by the
file name entered into the MapInfo table, by searching for a prefix
"Link" (or one determined by the user in the Link File Setup). The
default prefix is LINK, so a column name such as LINKFILE or LINKIMAGE can
contain linked files. Therefore allowing the possible creation of a
many-to-one relationship, allowing more than one file to be linked to a
single object. |
|
|
|
|
|
Link Plus knows which program to execute by the extension of a
file. By default it uses the associations defined by Windows, however, these
can be modified by the user. |
|
As
well as local files, Link Plus can link to inter/intranet files by placing a
URL in the column rather than a file name. |

main purpose of the utility is to allow you to turn debugging on and watch

MapInfo Professional has a handy feature of being able to
combine map objects with the help of a single command. However, what MapInfo
lacks is an "uncombine" command. This is where Spatial Plus has
come to the rescue. The development team at Spatial Plus has come up with
Poly Plus that actually separates what has been previously combined in
MapInfo, and a free "Donut Maker"! |
|
|
|
|
|
The Poly Plus button pad has two commands, being
"UnCombine" and "Donut Maker". "UnCombine"
reverses the MapInfo "Combine" function for map objects. Any
complex objects (those containing more than one object) in the current
selection will be split into individual objects. "Donut Maker" will
combine selected regions into a donut-like shape if the regions are entirely
contained within each other. |
|
Poly
Plus is recommended for any MapInfo user who has ever used the Combine
command. |

"ProjTool is for displaying the 'defining projection' for a

Search Plus features include: |
|
Search and replace within a single file, |
Search and replace recursively within a directory, |
Search and replace only particular file types, |

Bezier curves that approximate the original node positioning. Curves are

North America (-90,+60), for Australia (150,-35). Compiled for MapInfo 4.1.
