Practical Course
Practical hands-on training on selected super-resolution and label-free microscopy techniques based on non-linear optical phenomena and using IR lasers for experimental realization.
April 24-25, 2019
BIOCEV, Vestec
Super-resolution technique stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy and label-free imaging techniques Coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS) and higher (second or third) harmonic generation imaging have a common denominator in using IR lasers to induce non-linear optical phenomena. Besides, all these techniques are suitable for imaging of living cells or organisms as you will have a chance to learn not only through theoretical talks but also throuh hands-on sessions at state-of-the-art instruments.
Registration deadline: April 18, 2019
The course is supported by the National Infrastructure for Biological and Medical Imaging (Czech-BioImaging, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports – Large Research Infrastructure, LM2015062) and by:
