Guidelines for Preparing the Contribution to the Proceedings
The proceedings of contributions will also be published. Only full text contributions will be included in the proceedings. We are asking the authors to strictly follow the instructions for the authors below. Submitted contributions that do not follow these instructions may be excluded from publication. The authors could use a template, which is available here.
As the Proceedings will be printed, the length of the contribution is indisputably limited to 13 000 characters (spaces included), plus no more than five figures and/or tables. The Proceedings will be published in grayscale, thus all the illustrations must respect it.
The manuscript should be prepared as a single DOCX, DOC, or RTF file. Please, send also a PDF printout to avoid confusion in special characters (such as the alphabet or mathematical formulae). The paper size A4 with 2-cm margins is recommended. The paragraph text should be written in Calibri 11 pt, flush left (please do not use hyphenation), double-spaced. The references cited in the text should be placed as a number in square brackets, e.g. , the style of citations is as follows. The paragraphs are spaced by one blank row. Abbreviations and acronyms should be used very sparingly and consistently, following the system of abbreviations and symbols recommended by the IUPAC. They should be defined where they first appear in the text (apart from the most common ones such as NMR, IR, or UV).
The manuscript should be organized as follows:
Figures and tables should be placed in the manuscript after the References. As the Proceedings will be published in grayscale, no colors may be used in the figures, graphs, or tables. The editor recommends the following for the illustrations (structural formulae, figures, graphs, and schemes): Arial font for the script; the size of lettering, 3–3.5 mm; total maximum width, 13 cm. For high quality reproduction, high-resolution graphics must be supplied (at least 300 dpi). Each figure and scheme should have a legend below it. The legend should be comprehensive, so that there is no need to look for any information in the text. Tables must have a comprehensive legend and should only be subdivided by three horizontal lines (head rule, neck rule, foot rule).
The deadline for submission of the manuscript is June 25, 2023. The manuscript should be sent to the Proceedings editor (Karel Nesmerak, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org), who will confirm its receiving within 24 hours. The manuscript will be peer-reviewed and before the Proceedings publication, the authors will obtain proofs of the final typeset.
