Getting around Prague

Prague has a very efficient subway, tram and bus transportation system. Current information on the Prague’s transportation system can be found on the official website.

Here you can find all the necessary information, including public transport map, how to find connections, fares, and how to buy and validate tickets. You can also buy electronic tickets using the mobile app PID Lítačka available for Android and iPhone. If you are going to use public transport more than a few times a day, travel passes are a cost effective and convenient solution (330 CZK for 72 hours).

Airport

Václav Havel Airport Prague is located 30–45 minutes by car from the center of Prague. There is a good connection between the airport and city center by public transport – by Airport Express bus, or buses number 100, 119, 191 and night bus 910 and taxis. Taxi

In the city center, taxis are easy to hail on the street but we recommend you use hotel taxis, call a taxi service or use an app. There are also apps for alternative services such as Uber and Bolt.
