The project addresses spatial patterns of crime and the perception of safety in Czechia. The principal aim of the project is to fill a gap in crime research and knowledge about its perception in Czechia and to expand crime research both methodologically and empirically. The research will be carried out at different scale levels (macro- and micro-levels) with regard to the spatial and social aspects of their interconnection. The principal aim of the project is divided into three parts: spatial patterns of crime, fear of crime and a synthesis of the two.
