Scientific Programme

The main topics of EuroVariety conference are: 

CONTRIBUTIONS

Based on the submitted abstracts, some of the contributed papers will be selected for invited talks.

LECTURES

The invited lectures should be planned for 30 minutes, plus 10 minutes of discussion.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

The time scheduled for an oral presentation is 10-15 minutes, plus 5 minutes discussion. Please consider this information as tentative; the final decision regarding the time limits will be given when the total number of contributed papers is known, i.e. in February 2007.

You will have an overhead projector and a beamer, operated by a notebook with the current versions of MS PowerPoint and OpenOffice Impress at your disposal. You may bring your presentation stored on USB memory stick, DVD, CD or Floppy disk.

Preparation of some printed copies of presentation or full paper for audience is recommended.

POSTERS

Posters contents should be readable from a distance of about 1 m. Poster presentation includes answering questions from audience during poster session. The size of the poster boards will be announced by February 2007.

WORKSHOPS

The workshops should be planned for 60-90 min. Participants of the workshop should be acquainted with instruments, presentation tools, teaching materials or DVD/CD-ROM.
