Organizing Committee would like to thank all the participants of the conference, the authors, the reviewers of the papers, and the sponsors all of which have contributed to a high quality scientific meeting.
We also hope you all had a good time in Prague and enjoyed the meeting.
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite academic teachers, researchers as well as doctoral students to the conference Current Trends in Chemical Curricula (CTCC) to be held 24-26 September 2008 in Prague, Czech Republic. The Conference takes place at the Departments of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, Hlavova 8, 128 40, Prague 2.
We intend to encourage the discussion and description of trends in chemical education as key people perceive them. Apparently there are many people proposing changes in chemical education at all levels. Most of these changes involve new educational methods, forms and means (especially at the primary and secondary schools). On the other hand content of chemistry education itself reflects the progress in chemistry-science rather slowly. This delay results in growing disproportion between content of chemistry-science and chemistry-education. Therefore, CTCC conference aims to mediate sharing your opinions and experiences with introducing new and innovated content into the chemistry education at all levels (see detail topics).
Conference language: Czech, Slovak, Polish and English.
All accepted contributions will be published in the conference proceedings (printed and electronic edition), after being refereed by the scientific committee members.
The conference also includes social and sight-seeing opportunities in the historic city of Prague.
