Conference Awards

On the occasion of the conference, since 2020, prizes have been awarded for the best presented papers. The prizes are awarded either by the Dean of the Faculty of Science or by one of the sponsors.

• Metrohm Award: Sára Hermochová (University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, Czech Republic): Electrochemical visualization of fingerprints using poly(phenazine) dyes on the brass cartridges
• ALS Award: Ewelina Czyz (Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University, Czech Republic): Supported liquid-solid phase extraction using wetted nanofiber discs as a simple approach for extraction of water contaminants
• Dean’s Award: Seyedehelahe Bagherimetkazini (Universität Regensburg, Germany): Tyrosine oxidation behavior using electrochemistry, capillary electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry.
• Dean’s Award: Karolina Mermer (Uniwersytet Jagielloński): Smart fluorimetric system for the determination of antibiotics
• Dean’s Award: Alece Šimonová (Charles University, Czech Republic): Studying the interacti-ons between selected active pharmaceutical ingredients and liposomes by capillary electrophoresis.

• Metrohm Award: Din Zelikovich (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel): Shell-matrix interaction in nanoparticle-imprinted matrices: Implications for selective nanoparticle detection and separation
• Dean’s Award: Janik Scharf (Universität Regensburg, Germany): Interfacing mass spectrometry with electrochemistry in the field of industrial battery research
• Dean’s Award: Ewelina Mas´lak (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruň, Poland): MALDI technique in identification of mixed bacterial cultures
• Dean’s Award: Katarina Molna´rova´ (Charles University, Czech Republic): The study of different solvents on glycopeptide enrichment efficiency and selectivity in solid-phase extraction

• Metrohm Award: Michal Augustin (Charles University, Czech Republic): Voltammetric investigation of the interaction between low-molecular weight double-stranded DNA and nitenpyram and its electrochemically generated metabolites
• Dean’s Award: Ewelina Maslak (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruň, Poland): Short-incubation method for rapid identification of bacterial pathogens via MALDI TOF MS technique
• Dean’s Award: Michael Killinger (Masaryk University, Czech Republic): Bioluminescence determination of caspase-3/7 in single osteosarcoma cells
• Dean’s Award: Johannes Eidenschink (University of Regensburg, Germany): Investigation of the oxidation behaviour of cysteine by means of electrochemistry hyphenated to capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry

• Metrohm Award: Daniel Böhm (University of Regensburg, Germany): The effects of linearly assembled capillaries with various inner diameters on capillary electrophoresis
