Defence of Doctoral thesis, another success
Yet another success for the Laboratory of Structural Biochemistry of Immune Recognition! A doctorate student, MSc. Barbora Kalousková, has defended her doctoral thesis named “Harnessing soluble forms of NK cell receptors and their ligands for cancer immunotherapy” in January 2022.
Her first-author publication “Tumor Marker B7-H6 Bound to the Coiled Coil Peptide-Polymer Conjugate Enables Targeted Therapy by Activating Human Natural Killer Cells” has been highlighted on the cover of Biomedicines Volume 9, Issue 11.
For a very long time, Barbora has been one of the leading students of the Laboratory of Structural Biochemistry of Immune Recognition. She has contributed a lot of time and energy to the research, for which we are very grateful, and we wish her the very best of luck in her further scientific career.
