Master’s thesis nominated for the Rector’s award!

In 2024, several Master’s and Bachelor’s theses from our laboratory were successfully defended. Notably, Kristýna Pazderová received a nomination for the Rector’s Award for her Master’s thesis on the structural biochemistry of NKp80, an activation receptor of human lymphocytes.

Other defended Master’s theses include Yurii Dubanych‘s research on galectin-3 interaction with NKp30, Gabriela Chytrá‘s work on activating antitumor immune responses using bispecific fusion proteins, and Tomáš Otépka‘s project on the preparation of TGF-β3 with a coiled-coil tag.

In the Bachelor’s category, Tereza Cibiková worked on anti-CD20 nanobodies and polymeric carrier conjugation, Anna Dmytrivna Maksimova focused on soluble NK cell receptor NKR-P1 production, and Viktória Murajdová optimized recombinant protein expression in HEK293 cells.

We congratulate our laboratory members on their achievements and new academic titles.
