We are excited to announce that the 16th Developmental and Cell Biology PhD conference will be held in Carolinum
General guideline:
– Time for the speaker: 12min + 6min discussion
– The recommended format for posters is A1, portrait orientation.
Locations:
– We look forward to seeing you Wednesday 04.11.2026 from 9 a.m. for registration at the Carolinum, Ovocný trh 560/5, 110 00 Staré Město.
– The conference Thursday 05.11.2026 will be followed by a social event at Hybernska, Room C, Hybernská 4, Praha 1.
Keynote speakers
It is our great pleasure to announce our two keynote speakers who will share their research, discuss the science presented by students, and share their experiences from academia.
This year’s conference will be joined by Thomas Surrey, Ph.D.
And by Helen May-Simera, Ph.D.
The conference is mainly aimed at PhD students, but Masters’ students are encouraged to apply for a short talk presenting their project and the state of art of their work.
Poster session
The poster session is for first-year PhD students.
Poster size of A0 portrait format (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) is preferred, but if you have a recent poster you want to reuse of a different size, feel free to do so
