Prof. Frank Bradke is a leading scientist in the field of neurobiology. He is a group leader at DZNE (German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases) while also teaching as a professor at the University of Bonn. Frank’s laboratory is focused on axonal growth research and the cytoskeleton’s role in this process. They are searching for possible ways to influence the cytoskeleton to promote neuronal regeneration in disease and after injury. They pioneer imaging techniques to image growing neurons in living tissues. Apart from science, Frank enjoys cakes, cycling, and picking olives in Italy.
