10th Czech-Italian-Spanish Conference (CIS-10) on Molecular Sieves and Catalysis

The Engineering Solid Catalysts team participated in the 10th Czech-Italian-Spanish Conference (CIS-10) on Molecular Sieves and Catalysis, held at the beautiful Liblice Castle on 9-12 June 2025.
This biennial event brought together leading research groups from the Czech Republic, Italy, and Spain, with the aim of strengthening the already well-established collaborations in the field of molecular sieves and catalysis.

Mariya delivered a keynote lecture presenting the latest findings from the ENforCE project, focusing on FT-IR spectroscopic studies of solid catalysts.

Martin gave an insightful talk on how subtle changes in synthesis conditions can significantly impact the successful crystallization of -EWT zeolite.

Emad discussed strategies for tailoring crystal morphology in zeolite catalysts with multimodal porosity and highlighted its effect on the industrially important xylene isomerization process.

Yuqi presented the outcomes of a collaborative study with the Laboratoire Catalyse & Spectrochimie, CNRS (Caen, France), which focused on developing a spectroscopic method for the identification and quantification of active sites in Zr-containing zeolite catalysts.

Mariyamuthu M. has presented his recent results on the selective hydrogenation over metal-based catalysts prepared by demetalation of zeolites.
