International Symposium SpectroCat2024

The SPECTROCAT 2024 symposium, titled “Advanced Spectroscopies and Operando Characterizations for Catalysis,” brought together researchers specializing in spectroscopic characterization and microscopic imaging of catalytic systems. The event took place in the beautiful city of Caen from July 10th to 12th, 2024.

The symposium provided a unique platform to present and discuss the latest advancements and future perspectives in in situ and operando spectroscopies and microscopies for catalyst characterization, both under model conditions and in real operating environments.

Key topics covered included novel instrumental developments, innovative experimental designs, advanced data processing techniques, and their applications in heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis.

Yuqi and Petr contributed to the symposium with their in situ FT-IR studies of zeolite catalysts
