SMARTER8 and the PANACEA annual users meeting
The SMARTER meeting has long been a key platform for scientists working in computation, diffraction, magnetic resonance, and other spectroscopic techniques, fostering the development of SMARTER approaches to optimally integrate multiple techniques for the structural elucidation of complex inorganic, organic, and biological materials.
In 2024, the meeting returned to Aveiro, Portugal, between September 22-25, continuing its tradition of encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Mariya contributed to the event with a presentation on in situ infrared spectroscopy for understanding new zeolite catalysts, showcasing the technique’s role in elucidating structure-performance relationships in catalytic materials.
