Visit of Dr. Manuel Moliner
On October 8-11, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Manuel Moliner from Instituto de Tecnología Química (València, Spain).
A pioneer in high-throughput methodologies for zeolite synthesis and among the discoverers of new zeolite structures, Dr. Moliner delivered a compelling lecture titled “Guiding Zeolite Synthesis towards Target Frameworks and Selective Active Site Location: Catalytic Implications.” The talk showcased recent advances in designing zeolite-based catalysts by generating precise metal active sites and stabilizing key intermediates.

Following his lecture, Dr. Moliner engaged in in-depth discussions with young researchers from Charles University. These sessions provided a platform for sharing practical insights on experimental design and overcoming challenges in zeolite synthesis.
