Our students at XXII. Meeting of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists!

The XXII. Meeting of Biochemists and Molecular Biologists, held on November 14-15, 2023, in Brno, marked a significant presence and success for our laboratory. Among the active participants in the poster section were Master students Nadezda Bragina, Jakub Jeníček, Zuzana Urbanová, Yurii Dubanych, and PhD candidate Shiva Nejadebrahim. Additionally, our members made noteworthy contributions to the presentation sessions.

In the young section, Bc. Kristyna Pazderova delivered a presentation on the Structure Determination of NKp80, an activating receptor of NK cells. Meanwhile, in the main section, Mgr. Ondřej Skořepa, Ph.D., presented on Optimizing IL-2 Fusion Antibodies for Enhanced Immune System Modulation.

The meeting concluded on a high note, with Bc. Jakub Jeníček securing the prize for the best poster presentation for his outstanding performance. Notably, Bc. Kristýna Pazderová received a well-deserved Recognition Award for her talk, too.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the organizers, especially Prof. RNDr. Michaela Wimmerová, Ph.D. We eagerly look forward to being a part of the next meeting, building on the success and collaborative spirit of this gathering.
