The members of the E-TRAINEE team from Heidelberg University, University of Innsbruck, and Charles University participated at the 5th Virtual Geoscience Conference, Dresden, 20-22 September 2023.
Dr. Katharina Anders from Heidelberg University hold a workshop on 4D change analysis of near-continuous LiDAR time series for applications in geomorphic monitoring based on the E-TRAINEE learning materials of the Module 3 (3D/4D Geographic Point Cloud Time Series Analysis).
Moreover, she gave an oral presentation titled “Time Series Analysis of 3D/4D Point Clouds within the Open-Source Online Course E-TRAINEE”.

A software package CNN compare for learning approaches to classification of hyperspectral imagery using convolutional neural networks was developed by Jakub Dvořák and Markéta Potůčková from the CU team as a part of the Module 4 of the E-trainee course. It was presented at the ISPRS congress in Nice on 9th June 2022 during the CATCON contest where it won the bronze award.
