In his M.Sc. studies, Petr unrevealed important characteristics of zeolites, making them highly active and selective catalysts of cascade Prins-Friedel-Crafts reaction or efficient production of valuable heterocyclic compounds containing the 4-aryltetrahydropyran moiety.
