European Polymer Federation Congress 2022 – We won the poster prize!

At the turn of June and July, our group actively participated in European Polymer Federation (EPF) Congress 2022 in Prague. Our Ph.D. student Lucie Havelková delivered an oral lecture about Functionalized Hyper-Cross-Linked Porous Polyacetylenes for Sorption and Catalytic Applications. Other contributions from our group were poster communications delivered by post-doc Bogdana Bashta (Microporous Polyacetylene Polymer Networks with Chiral Segments) and by Ph.D. students Alena Hašková (Ionic Hyper-Cross-Linked Polyacetylenes with Chiral and Achiral Segments) and David Šorm (Hyper-Cross-Linked Porous Polyacetylenes with Achiral and Chiral Organometallic Segments). More than 850 scientists involved in polymer chemistry attended this conference and delivered very interesting lectures (roughly 400 oral lectures and 400 poster communications).

At the end of the EPF Congress, we had something to celebrate, because our PhD. student David Šorm was awarded 3rd place in the Best Poster Award competition.
