Special Foreign Excursion Azerbaijan 2017

In 2017, we went through a zoological excursion to Azerbaijan for the seventh time in conjunction with the collection of material in our field research. This year, we visited the peninsula Absheron on the coast of the Caspian Sea, some locations in central Azerbaijan and the foothills of the Caucasus, such as Shemacha, dry xerotermic areas in Goycay and Turianchay, and the Togany wooded mountainous regions near Armenia and extensive reeds and coastal salt lagoons in the area Diviči north of the capital of Baku.
