Our lab is happy to welcome Cristina Valeriano Peñas from the Instituto Pirenaico de Ecologia, Spain, who is coming for a short-term research stay. Cristina is a PhD student focused on ecology of healthy and declining forests across the Iberian Peninsula. She will stay with us for 6 weeks and we will collaborate on applications of the VS-model for her network of Abies alba sites across the Pyrenees.
