The inverted confocal Raman microscope WITec Alpha300 Ri is equipped with a
532 nm laser and a highly sensitive Andor detection system, designed for confocal micro-Raman spectroscopy in the visible spectral range. Signal detection is based on a cooled CCD camera optimized for the
UV–VIS region, providing very high detection efficiency already around 400 nm, which enables reliable acquisition of even very weak Raman signals.
The microscope was co-financed as part of the project “Development of Infrastructure for Doctoral Programs at Charles University” with registration number CZ.02.01.01/00/22_012/0005514 and is intended for teaching and student training in modern optical and spectroscopic methods.
