1992–1997    Master Study, Czech Technical University in Prague: geodesy and cartography, specialization on mathematical cartography.
2000–2004    PhD Study, Czech Technical University in Prague: specialization on mathematical cartography.
2000–2003    Bachelor Study, Czech Technical University in Prague: pedagogy.

1998–1999    Hydrosoft Praha: GIS specialist.
2000–2004    Secondary school of Geodesy and Land Surveying: Lecturer (CAD & GIS).
since 2005    Department of Applied Geoinformatics and Cartography, Faculty of Science: assistant professor.

Algorithms for buildings simplification, aggregation/typification/dissolving.
Algorithms for aesthetically pleasant contour lines.
DTM simplifications and advanced analysis.
2.5D triangulations.
Weighted straight skeleton.
